Get the right system on the right buildings.
Solar, battery storage, heat pumps and EV charging can cut running costs, reduce carbon and make buildings more attractive to occupiers. They can also tie up roof space and capital in systems that don’t perform if they’re specified badly.
We’ve built more than 100 MW of solar and modelled hundreds of megawatts of solar and battery storage. We use that experience to tell you which of your buildings are worth pursuing, what to install, how to fund it and how to buy it, without a product to sell.
How we help
Portfolio screening
A quick look across your buildings to find the sites where solar, storage or heat pumps make the most sense first.
Feasibility
Roof and site constraints, grid capacity, occupier demand and realistic system sizes for each building.
Business case
Capital, PPA and lease options compared, with payback, IRR and the assumptions written down.
Procurement
Specifications, tender support and proposal reviews, then oversight through to commissioning.
Frequently asked questions
Is solar worth it on a commercial building?
Often, but not always. It depends on the roof, how much of the electricity is used on site, your tariff and how the building is let. Our free energy review gives you an early, honest view before you spend money on a full study.
Can occupiers use electricity from solar on our building?
Yes. Power generated on site can be used by the building’s occupiers, and there are several ways to structure that between landlord and tenant. We help you work out which approach fits your leases and your buildings.
Do you install the systems?
No. We're independent advisers. We help you specify, procure and oversee the work; installation is carried out by contractors you appoint. If we introduce a supplier and would receive a referral fee, we tell you before you decide.
Can you look at several buildings at once?
Yes. We work with single buildings and multi-site portfolios, and for portfolios we start by ranking sites so effort goes where the value is.
